Studio Update #6

Dear all,

I hope you are doing well and staying warm and healthy since we last connected! Since the start of the new year, I have welcomed many new changes to the studio. Most immediately, I have welcomed a new assistant, Catherine Sillars, a young filmmaker to help me continue with my video-based work.

Our first collaboration is another installment of Imperfect Perfect, the watercolor storyboard series I was working on previously, but now with a twist! We lost our beloved pug Ruby last summer but, in this installment, she comes back to life! She’s high-spirited, rambunctious and a whole lot of fun!

Soon, we will return to our regularly scheduled programming of watercolor storyboard instructions and updates on the mountings of the monochromatic paintings, but we wanted to share our laughs with you and get you excited for what is to come!

We look forward to the beginnings of a beautiful spring working in the studio!

Imperfect Perfect
