This exhibition “Composite Paintings” (“Összetett képek”) represented George Peck’s first in Hungary, and took place at Kunsthalle (Mücsarnok), Budapest in 1995. János Sturcz wrote that Peck “has evolved a completely unique method for making an image.” He went on, “But [Peck] doesn’t veil the fragility of the pictorial structure, showing that one must struggle everyday, again and again, to attain the delicate balance in the effort towards sublime spirituality.”
